Gerard Dineros

Hello, My name is Gerard Dineros.

I’m the founder of Ilucidy.

Let me quickly tell you about myself, because I suspect we have some things in common.

Ever since I was a child, I had a rough idea about what investing was, having heard about it here and there, but for years it was nothing more than just something I would one day look at in greater depth.

Eventually, that day came.

Shortly after I turned 16, I committed myself to take to the time to learn what exactly investing is. I read as many articles and books as I could, with some books such as The Intelligent Investor and Security Analysis proving to be too much for me to handle at the time.

Two years later, my gut told me I was ready, so I made the jump from theory to practice.

Naturally, it was only a matter of time before I came across these three documents:

The Balance Sheet…

…Income Statement…

…and Cash Flow Statement.

I had read about these documents before, so they weren’t entirely new to me, but seeing the real thing for the first time was both mesmerizing and a bit terrifying.

Investment education materials make these three documents seem relatively simple, but seeing a real set for the first time left me scrambling trying to figure out how to interpret them.

To make matters worse, financial statements and annual reports are structured a bit differently based on the industry you’re looking at.

Now, after more than 5 years of being an active investor, I look back at my past struggles and see how much they slowed my progress. If only I wasn’t so bogged down trying to understand the details, I would’ve been able to move much faster.

With the resources and service available here, you can avoid the same mistakes I made and progress your investment analysis a lot faster.

So, I invite you to read the 100+ articles here or to work with me to help clear up any confusion or troubles you may have with your own analytical work.

Being a new investor is tough, I know that from personal experience, but it doesn’t have to be for you. Let me help you move forward in your investing journey, without having to learn everything the hard way.
